If your priority is to get away as soon as possible then during the first quarter of the year, from January until March, Latin America is worth investigating. The Maasai Mara wildebeest migration crosses from Tanzania to Kenya during the late summer and this is something that can only be truly appreciated by witnessing it first hand and of course on horseback!
