8 days of exciting riding in breathtaking Portugal
Over just one week, with 6 days in the saddle, you will be able to enjoy very diverse landscapes and spectacular views, riding on varied terrain from technical mountain paths to long sandy beaches to eucalyptus and pine forests, with plenty of opportunities for long relaxed canters and occasional gallops.
The group size never exceeds 10 riders and Luis, your trilingual local host for this holiday, will share his deep knowledge of the region with you along the trail.
You will be riding beautiful and well behaved Lusitano or Lusitano-Arab horses with comfortable tack.
With a rather fast and exciting pace, spending 4 to 6 hours in the saddle every day, this trail is ideal for intermediate riders onwards.
Stay in comfortable hotels with swimming pools where you’ll be able to truly unwind after a long day in the saddle, and indulge in simple yet mouthwatering Alentejo cuisine, washed down with excellent local wines.
