The ride will take you along the picturesque coastline, across beautiful beaches and into the fascinating inland valleys. The scenery you will encounter is unlike anything else in Andalusia. The region’s excellent climate, characterised by low rainfall and mild temperatures, allows you to enjoy this experience at any time of the year but is particuarly lovely in the spring and autumn. Hotel accommodation with swimming pools and restaurant dinners completes the experience.

Andalusian Hacienda
A based stay at a hillside ranch in the heart of Andalusia suitable for all levels. Riders can enjoy a mix of lessons and hacking out in the beautiful Andalusian hills. There are activities for non-riders in the local area and riding is available for children from 6 years onwards. Ride through picturesque olive groves and spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool before an early evening lesson at this 16th century hacienda.

The Sierra de Gredos region in Central Spain offers a fantastic setting for a trail riding holiday. The trail follows Tormes river valley and will take you on narrow and rocky mountain paths, across stunning open valleys and through medieval villages full of history. There will be great opportunities for trots and canters each day where the terrain allows faster riding.
Your guide, Emilio, has been leading riding holidays in the Gredos Mountains for more than 20 years and knows every stone of each path like the back of his hand. His home-bred PRE and Hispano-Arab horses are much loved and extremely well looked after, living outside all year round in a natural herd. They know their job, are easy to ride and make sure you can thoroughly enjoy your holiday.
