Over three days, refine your relationship with horses through natural horsmanship training, followed by three days of horseback riding across wild volcanic landscapes and idyllic beaches. Perfect for experienced riders wishing to deepen their connection with horses while exploring the region’s natural beauty. An adventure to develop skills that you can take home and use again and again.

This stay is run by our experienced partners in Andalusia who train their horses with these methods. Horse training in this way is extremely rewarding for all riders and the skills are highly transferable. The goal is to deepen awareness of your body language (how horses mainly comunicate), to create a relaxed partnership. Working with horses in this way reduces anxiety (for both the rider and the horse) and leads to a more meaningful, and easier, riding experience.

After the 3 days of training you can spend 3 days putting it all into practise as you explore the Andalusian beaches (where legendary films were shot - Indiana Jones and Lawrence of Arabia) and lunar-like volcanic craters. The rides last for 5 or 6 hours, and you'll ride at all paces. This protected national park on the coast provides a total immersion in wild nature and a friendly atmosphere for experienced riders.

  • Learn natural horsemanship from expert horse whisperers

The Horses

There are approximately 20 horses at this destination, mainly Andalusians, Arabians, and Hispano-Arabians. They live outdoors in comfortable paddocks, and when they are not on the riding trail, they stay together in a herd and are free to move around. Chosen for their good temperament and strength, most of these horses stay with the hosts for life and are trained using natural horsemanship techniques. They are safe, brave, respectful, and sensitive horses that enjoy human company. The saddlery and riding style are of the English type. Saddle bags are provided so you can carry your daily essentials, such as sunscreen, water, etc.
