Lapland Winter Trail
Experience the magic of Lapland in winter on this week-long adventure based at a family-run ranch in the countryside outside Rovaniemi. Ride native horses through silent, snow-covered forests and across the beautiful Arctic landscape, including an unforgettable evening ride beneath the dark northern sky in search of the Aurora Borealis. Away from the saddle, experience some of Lapland's traditional winter activities, from travelling through the forest by horse-drawn sleigh to snowshoeing and warming up in a Finnish sauna.
You'll also have a day to explore Rovaniemi and the famous Santa Claus Village before returning to the peaceful surroundings of the ranch. With small groups and riders matched to suitable horses according to their experience, this is an accessible winter riding holiday for a range of abilities.
