Fast riding across 400km taking in the wide open spaces of the Namib desert, the highlands and semi-desert sheep farms,โฏthrough mountainous terrain and red sand dunes until finally reaching the Atlantic ocean. Camp in tents or sleep under the stars, this is an extreme riding experience for experienced riders craving a real adventure.
Camp out under the stars
One of the highlights of the trail is camping out with your horse under the star-filled Namibian sky. Tents are available but to camp under the stars is truly magical and something not many horse riding holidays offer. Although you will spend 8 nights camping wild, plenty of small luxuries are provided; ice in your sundowners, hot bucket showers and delicious food around companionable campfires. Camp life has an easy rhythm; wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee, have a hearty breakfast, saddle up, ride, lunch and rest, ride, sundowners, shower, delicious dinner, sleep and repeat.
